Celkově má tento čaj sladkou a jemnou chuť, svěží vůni, má lesklé a velké listy, silnou energii. Po několika letech skladování se barva nálevu mění na oranžově žlutou až oranžově červenou a vůně se stává výraznější.Ideální tmavý pu-erh (shupu), jak pro okamžité popíjení, tak pro dlouhodobou (investiční) archivaci.
