Tea specialties with a relatively long history probably come from Jing Gu. Thanks to special production processes (processing at night), leaves acquire a wonderful contrast of colors. The tips and surface of the leaves are velvety soft and creamy white, while the underside is dark to black &#8211; the white side is said to represent the day, while the dark night.<\/p>\n<p>Legend has it that in ancient times the girls selected to collect leaves for this tea were bathed and cared for three days in advance and then carefully collected only the best buds and leaves for making this wonderful tea in the moonlight &#8211; hence the name &#8220;Moonlight Beauty&#8221;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;White moonlight&#8221; &#8211; known as &#8216;white pu-erh&#8217; &#8211; a special green (sheng) pu-erh with a difference in processing, where the leaves are allowed to fade at night after harvest, instead of in the sun, as is usual in maocha. A large proportion of dull silvery, large hairy tips gives the tea an attractive appearance.<\/p>\n<p>The color of the infusion is yellowish and smells mostly of herbs with a little fruit.
