All of this year’s teas from Meng Ding Shan \u8499\u9876\u5c71 come from a smaller organic plantation from higher elevations. The price of these teas is slightly higher, but it reflects the quality and origin. Pictured below is a snapshot from our tour of the gardens, an elderly lady collecting tea is the mother of the plantation owner.<\/p>\n

“Fluffy peaks of the Meng Ding Mountains” as can be translated the name ‘mao feng’, popular and used for many teas. It is usually used to emphasize the quality of the leaf used, when the hairy tops – buds and leaves – are abundant.<\/p>\n

Dark green, larger, regularly twisted leaf with a strong, sweet aroma.
