CNNP / Zhong Cha 中 茶 stands for China National Native Produce & Animal By-Products Import & Export company, the original state-owned enterprise established in 1951. It has managed all major tea factories, including Meng Hai / Dayi (2), Xiaguan (3) , Kunming (1), Lan Cang / Feng Qing (4) and others. Most of them were privatized in 1980-1990. In a way, CNNP continues under the branded China Tea Leaf Inc. and still uses the original red-green logo 中茶 – probably the longest used brand in the world of pu-erh.
